Steve O’Dea  BEng MBA ACSM DIC MAusIMM

Steve is a mining engineer with over 20 years’ experience in underground and open cut mining operations throughout Australasia. A graduate of the Camborne School of Mines he has a breadth of operational experience in a wide range of operations from underground gold and copper to hydraulically mined kaolin and in positions including alternate Registered Manager and Underground Manager.

Complementing the direct operations and technical experience Steve has extensive experience with scoping and feasibility studies, a sound background in financial modelling together with an in-depth knowledge of the processes, technologies, markets and business issues of mining and processing both precious and bulk commodities.

 


 

Tim Manners   FCA, AICS, MAICD, BBus

Tim has over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles within the Australian and International resources sector. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and a qualified Company Secretary. Tim has significant experience in the fields of accounting, taxation, treasury and financial risk management in companies spanning all stages of corporate growth, from exploration activities, project development through to producing companies.

Having obtained his professional qualifications with Ernst & Young, Tim has focussed his career in the resources industry with exposure to both base and precious metals businesses and bulk commodities. Mr Manners has held Chief Financial Officer roles at Western Areas NL, Perilya Ltd and Bathurst Resources. He is currently CFO of ASX gold producer Phoenix Gold Ltd.

 


 

Don Smith   B.Sc, MBA, MAusIMM, MAIG

Don is a mining industry consultant and entrepreneur with qualifications in geology, mining and business. He has worked for small through to multinational companies in eight (8) countries spanning base metals, precious metals, iron ore and coal. Don’s professional strength lies in the identification of high merit green and brownfields projects and bringing them from exploration through feasibility to production.
